<channel><title><![CDATA[Hooked On Heather - Deutschland!]]></title><link><![CDATA[http://www.hookedonheather.com/deutschland]]></link><description><![CDATA[Deutschland!]]></description><pubDate>Sun, 17 Mar 2024 22:22:21 -0700</pubDate><generator>Weebly</generator><item><title><![CDATA[Day 3 in München]]></title><link><![CDATA[http://www.hookedonheather.com/deutschland/day-3-in-munchen]]></link><comments><![CDATA[http://www.hookedonheather.com/deutschland/day-3-in-munchen#comments]]></comments><pubDate>Fri, 15 Sep 2017 21:32:43 GMT</pubDate><category><![CDATA[Uncategorized]]></category><guid isPermaLink="false">http://www.hookedonheather.com/deutschland/day-3-in-munchen</guid><description><![CDATA[So...today was day 3 in Munich and it was AWESOME! &nbsp;The weather was very nice today, so we decided to change our original plans and go sight seeing! &nbsp;The sun was shining and the temperature was around 61 degrees Fahrenheit or 16 degrees Celsius.Mom and I started the day by going to the local corner store "Netto". &nbsp;I believe they call this a discount store here, but it was very similar to a mom and pop grocery store. &nbsp;We went here for multiple reasons. &nbsp;First off, I wante [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="paragraph">So...today was day 3 in Munich and it was AWESOME! &nbsp;The weather was very nice today, so we decided to change our original plans and go sight seeing! &nbsp;The sun was shining and the temperature was around 61 degrees Fahrenheit or 16 degrees Celsius.<br /><br />Mom and I started the day by going to the local corner store "Netto". &nbsp;I believe they call this a discount store here, but it was very similar to a mom and pop grocery store. &nbsp;We went here for multiple reasons. &nbsp;First off, I wanted to know where it was and how far of a walk. &nbsp;It is basically less than 10 minutes of a walk. &nbsp;Yay! &nbsp;When we got to store, we were in search of shampoo, conditioner, and something for breakfast. &nbsp;Y'all...I was able to get shampoo for 57 cents!! &nbsp;Say What?! &nbsp;We then got some soft rolls, cream cheese, and salami for breakfast. &nbsp;It ended up tasting good, but the rolls are definitely not the same as a bagel! &nbsp;Through all of this, we found that the prices here are really decent! &nbsp;<br /><br />After going back to the room, we got our showers and ate breakfast. &nbsp;We then decided that it was such a beautiful day out, and it is supposed to rain for the next couple of days, that we would go on a city tour. &nbsp;We looked these up and found out that we needed to go to the Hauptbahnhof station. &nbsp;This is close to the center of the city and, as we found out, a very busy station. &nbsp;To get to Hauptbahnhof we took the U6 from Freimann to Odeonsplatz. &nbsp;From Odeonsplatz we hopped onto the U5 for two stations to the Hauptbahnhof. &nbsp;Not too bad! &nbsp;Once there, we purchased two all-day tickets for the red tour bus. &nbsp;Our first tour was the City Center tour. &nbsp;We had fun listening to all of the history about different buildings and statues. &nbsp;Once we arrived at the Marienplatz, we decided to hop off and go shopping!<br /><br />More on the shopping and the rest of the day later...</div>]]></content:encoded></item></channel></rss>
